Over time, the name also came to reflect Chantilly lace itself—delicate in appearance, yet intricate and enduring. It mirrors the way people often are: soft in places, strong in others, and more resilient than they realize.
Bonita means “beautiful” in Spanish, and it came to me through memories of Bonito Lake in New Mexico, where I grew up. After surviving devastating wildfires, the lake slowly returned—changed, but still beautiful.
Together, the name holds a reminder I live by: beauty doesn’t disappear after hardship—it deepens. Chantilly Bonita exists to honor the quiet strength we carry through every season.
