Desert-Born. Bayou-Rooted.
The Story
I’m Chantilly Whittle —
Lacey to the people who know me well.
Chantilly Bonita lives somewhere between New Mexico clay and Louisiana rain.
It is shaped by the wide-open landscapes where I began, the South Louisiana roots I grew later, years spent learning skin and body care, and a life that taught me that wellness is rarely as polished as the internet makes it look.
Around here, care is not another performance.
It is a relationship with your body, your skin, your capacity, and the rhythms that help you feel a little more like yourself.
Soft edges. Solid ground. Wellness for real life.

How This Began
Chantilly Bonita began taking shape through ordinary things.
Skin care at the bathroom sink. Warm baths. Plants. Movement. Quiet mornings.
Learning when to push and when to stop pushing quite so damn hard.
None of it was about becoming a better, shinier version of myself.
It was about paying attention.
Over time, that practice of paying attention began weaving itself into my professional work — first through beauty and esthetics, then bodywork, continued education, writing, and a growing curiosity about the ways our experiences shape how we move through the world.
Chantilly Bonita became the place where those pieces could belong together.
Not perfectly.
Honestly.
Where Chantilly Bonita Lives Today
Today, Chantilly Bonita has several branches, all growing from the same roots.
The Atelier
My in-person practice in Abbeville, Louisiana, where professional skin care and bodywork are offered with an intentional, unhurried approach.
Every appointment begins with the person in front of me — not a trend, a protocol for protocol’s sake, or an idealized version of what your skin or body is supposed to be.

From the Earth, for the Body.
Care does not have to be elaborate to matter.
Sometimes it is professional treatment.
Sometimes it is education that finally makes something click.
Sometimes it is learning what your skin actually needs instead of buying another product.
Sometimes it is five quiet minutes and the courage to begin again.
Chantilly Bonita makes room for all of it.

Professional Foundation
I am a Louisiana-licensed esthetician and massage therapist with a professional background spanning esthetics, therapeutic bodywork, professional beauty, client education, retail, and wellness.
My esthetics foundation was shaped by Aveda, where consultation, sensory experience, intentional touch, and treating skincare as more than simply applying products became part of how I learned to work.
My years in professional beauty environments, including Sephora, strengthened my product knowledge, ingredient curiosity, and ability to translate the overwhelming language of beauty into something people can actually understand and use.
My massage and continuing education have expanded that work into the body, with training that includes lymphatic techniques, Thai massage, cupping, hot bamboo, hot stone, gua sha, trauma-informed approaches to touch, advanced skin care, and endocannabinoid-system education.
I am also completing undergraduate study in psychology, which continues to deepen my understanding of development, behavior, adaptation, family systems, and the many circumstances that shape how people experience care.
That education shapes how I think.
It does not change my professional scope.
Knowing where my role ends is part of responsible care.
